1️⃣ Ask a question on your caption. People love sharing their opinions and thoughts!

2️⃣ Use carousels over single images. People keep swiping through which tells the Algo Daddy that people are engaging with this post.

3️⃣ Always use captions on your Reels. About 50% of people watch social media videos with the sound off! I’m one of them! 👋🏽

4️⃣ Give people a reason to leave a comment; tag a friend who needs this / would love this etc

5️⃣ Reply to every comment with another question. Keep that engagement going!

What’s X? X is your ideal customer. Your ideal follower. Be specific. Always. Y is what they need that you help with.

And the talking: talk about that one tip that will help them. Remember everyone scrolls Instagram wondering what is in it for them.

So it could be:

If your toddler is at the stage when they say NO to everything, and you want to encourage more YESes, you need to hear this!

The talk about your tip for doing this. Keep it simple, keep it brief, cut the waffle, edit out the silences. You can go into detail in the caption.

Before we dive in if you have questions, drop em in the comments.

So, we’re going to use a proven HOOK that makes people stop scrolling and watch your Reel:

POV: you’re an X who Y and you find my account.

Now. What are X and Y?

X is your Ideal Follower, and Y is what they really really need or want that you provide.
Be specific though!

For example:

You’re a tired toddler mum who just really really wants their baba to learn to drop off to sleep on their own, so you don’t have to commando crawl out of their room tonight, and you find my account.

You’re a small business owner who doesn’t know what to post on Instagram, but really wants to post something this weekend that will attract their ideal follower, and really needs some ideas and guidance, and you find my account.
